5 Axis Waterjet

AitalMAC's WJ5 5 axis waterjet for Dekton and porcelain, for kitchen top cutting and artistic flooring and ornaments.
The WJ5 incorporates an efficient and reliable 5 axis waterjet technology, developed by AitalMAC, the waterjet pump is integrated in the machine, the pressure at the Waterjet nozzle is controlled dynamically in real time by AitalMAC's close loop waterjet system integrated into the machine to a maximum of 60'000psi.
The WJ5 is capable of cutting countless materials, it was specifically designed and tested on fragile materials like Dekton porcelain and even glass, the Waterjet pressure can be accelerated on plunge making the perfect entry without any chipping.
When the Waterjet system is idle it is not pressurized, this greatly improves the reliability of all the joints, and it's also much more efficient compared to traditional pumps that need to stay pressurized while idle. While running AitalMAC's Waterjet pump is also 40~50% more efficient than traditional systems, and it's a magnitude of times quieter, this ensures a comfortable working environment around the machine.

CNC CONTROLLER & Software

Easy to use interface. Imports and works with DXF files and standard G-Code, but can also do simple cuts in manual mode.

Vacuum manipulator system

The manipulator system has four vacuum cups, enabling a lift capacity of 500kg / 1100lbs.

Tilting table

5 Axis Waterjet fabrication process starts with the easy load of the slabs on the tilting table.

On-board camera

The machine is supplied with an on-board camera with a precision of +/- 5mm. With the camera is possible to snap a picture of the slab, and then import the picture in the program to place your parts avoiding defects.
